Baby Dots: High-Contrast Calm
Guided Access

No Accidental App Switching

How to make your phone "baby safe"

Add a shortcut to avoid accidental swipes.
Guided Access is a built-in accessibility feature that locks the phone to a single app.
Once it's set up, you start it with a quick triple-click on the side button.

Set it up (once)

01
Open Settings

Go to Accessibility › Guided Access and turn it on.

02
Turn on Accessibility Shortcut

In the same Guided Access menu, enable Accessibility Shortcut. This lets you triple-click to start a session.

03
Set a passcode

Tap Passcode Settings and set a Guided Access passcode — or enable Face ID / Touch ID to end sessions quickly.

Start a session

01
Open Baby Dots
02
Triple-click the side button

Side button on your phone (top button on iPad, home button on older devices). Select Guided Access if a menu appears.

03
Tap Start

The phone is now locked to Baby Dots. Stray taps won't open anything else.

End a session

Triple-click the same button, authenticate with your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, then tap End.
